Avocado Pasta

Avocado pasta sauce
3 wedges garlic
Lemon juice
Salt, pepper
1 1/2 mini avocado
4 whole walnut
25 to 30 fresh basil leaves
Pasta water, olive oil

Blend in processor. Add olive oil to reach right texture. Serve 2 adult n 1 toddler.

First lunch C&S

Sophie and mi. Our first.

I still remember times when I took pictures of Sophie in first weeks. In months. And today she turns 1! Months turning into years and in a blink, I will.have a 16yr old young adult who merely kiss and hug me at hallways as they hug and go.

Not to get ahead of myself, now I am all set to enjoy motherhood with a baby turned toddler.  It's still pretty amazing to watch her sleep and her eyes lighting up from lunch naps. Of course not early wake mornings, you know what I mean...

Baby, today wasn't as celebrated as it should be your first. But Mama did try to make you as happy as it should be, in my own way. I love you dearly and thanks for all the magic moments you given me.

Unbelievably Beautiful

Its fast approaching the 11 mths mark. Doing it all without a helper. Does make it messy at time. Sleep deprived, challenging.. The list goes on

Yet. Looking back, surprisingly.  I only remember the sweetest kiss, the first steps and the beaming smile.
