Droste effect, term for recursive effect. A picture exhibiting DE depicts a smaller version of itself in the orginal picture. DE term was coined by poet Nico Scheepmarker. Named after a Dutch branded hot choco, whose box has a picture of a nurse carrying a tray with the box of choco, same brand..Hmmmm... An example of DE will be... film a TV with a video cam, and displaying the output on the same TV..Now ur turn, can you think of any example of DE?
