Home Sweet Home!

Finally moved! With 17 items and 35boxes in storage. We are done in 48hours. Yellow is my hero! The sweetest moment, is to enjoy the fruit of labour. @ Sofa.


And so, the theme for this home, is metal, wood and modular. Nomads, make sense to have it modular, isn't. Below is my fav area at moment. I would have taken the Kartell table, if not for the price. Anyway, I love what I have now...

She basically emptied her bank accounts to buy her first property.

She said, all you need is a bed. Other furnishing, can come later.

She would pack 2 bag full daily, dropped by the new place to check on renovations(minimum) after work. Moving her stuff, bit by bit.

She is strong. She is positive. She is kind. She's my superwoman. She's my mum.

Well. Yellow is sick today. I just hope he's better tomorrow at the actual move date. Good night.

I moved on...

According to records, precisely. SHA to SZ was 11 Jan. SZ to HK 16 April. Now, I am packing again. 8 months in Mori Mori, estimated to be 10 boxes.. Hopefully, the next move won't be till 2years later. Unless, it is SGD, for that, I am willing to do, anytime.


On the bright side, this move is better than previous 2. Yellow is on leave, I am finally not alone. Number 1 is the loneliest number. It's great to know you are not the only "1".


Can't wait for you to be in HK. I wanna bring you to cat eye curry. Let's see when that is.. Spring ends in April..

Sesame Tangyuan

I think that is my happy pill. I am looking forward to Jan. To be back in Singapore. Don't want to talk about it, but I love to have the hug. Having the trust/understanding from your loved ones.. Then I am not lonely, even though I am in HK.


I felt adult. I felt old. 2015, wasn't a good year for myself. But overall, I am glad, at least my closed ones are making progress.. Got married, new home, out of closet, baby boy, duper cute... Look forward to a colorful 16.

Simple Pleasure: Happy Cake Shop

It does makes me happy! We will get bread from them every week. Record, is we finished 8 pieces in a setting. My firm favorite is Mexican bun. But, luncheon, tuna, ham and egg are among my daily...Traditional bread, before Prima Deli, Bread-talk Era. I like the signature that comes with it. Char Siew is a red dot, Red Bean is black sea sesame. Curry is green...

Wry my Snoopy!

So, this is what I gotten from MacDonalds last Sunday. I have been toying with it all this week. Shall do it again this Sun! Anyway, we have just rented an apartment. @ Paterson street. Being a tenant..

So, the below is my pad in HK for past 8mths. Now that I am a freer bird, it's time. More importantly, I need my stuff. My plates, my blankets etc. Added as a trigger, BFF is coming over for 2 weeks, and as he described, looking forward to doing daily stuffs!! So am I;)





So the rental search. In short, the more I have seen, the sharper focus I have. I know what I want and what I don't. First, location. Going home, getting changed and hopping to Hysan at 9am. Is great pleasure to me. Lobby, corridor. Secondary to others, as compared to interior. Not to me. For the above, I am willing to forgo space and interior. Reno to me, is not important. I just need 4 white walls. I never believe in reno, be it rental or sale.





Anyway, search in progress.... Btw, Proximity is star. Having a friend to show you love. Makes you wanna cry. I loveeee the cheese cake! N

Coming to an end...

I am forever fond of Bangkok. Haven. Anyway, coming to an end of my stunt.. I am not at all regretting. So, it is a good decision. However, timing wise, I could have done better. This, makes me unhappy...

Time of the world

I am not working today. But I woke up earlier than usual. Made Bombay toast for myself. I always know them as Bombay toast, that what my mum called them.. So, I googled.. French toast and Bombay toast, are about the same. Could have use them interchangeably. French perhaps is more atas. There's cinnamon, vanilla etc. Bombay, on the other hand, is stale bread, dripped in egg+sugar batter, pan fry till golden brown.

Even since I am back from Taipei, the acne gotten worse. To the extend, I mapped them out, 14 of them.. Hormones, wtf...

We are define by our choices. We can either try new things, be amaze or damn. Be happy with old. What so ever. Bottomline, we can choose. Once you made the decision( or series of actions), jolly well suck it up. Not to ever repeat. If you think it's a wrong choice. Making a same mistake twice, you only have yourself to blame. Weekend. Was pretty much it. Simple. Home cooked meals. Never left HK island. Silly movie and variety shows. Hang out, do things..


So, do you really crave for freedom. Or is it overrated? The illusion of being free. But ultimately wanted to come back, be locked in a cage. Warm and comfy...


So. This is my fav fish. Promfet. White. I like it steamed. We seldom cook at home, mostly "fix" meals; salads soup... After this meal, makes me want to cook more often. Only that most of our ware are in storage.


Y asked. "Why don't you unpack. Maybe subconsciously you wanted to go back to Singapore. "Honestly, I don't know. There's a possibility. Anyway, I gave a politically correct answer: home is where Yellow is... Aha!


Chicken soup. For the soul. I added some udon. Don't know why. I had this idea for my next destination. I want to travel. To that place. That place that serves the best udon in the world. It's definitely Japan, isn't. Let me google later...

Keep my cool

I learnt. Get better. People equal complexity and proved to be difficult. I learnt to be robotic and keep my cool. It is manageable as long as you know your buttons. So, no matter how ridiculous people might be, how buttons are pressed, I kept my cool.

However, you don't know what you don't know... When he raise his voice at you, I was really pissed. Perhaps lost half bottle of cool~

Anyway. This incident. Brings me to morals and ethics. If you google, you can go in depth.. To me, simple. Moral is personal, how you treat people you know. Morals doesn't change. Ethics, is society. Treating people you don't know. It does change as the society or your role in the society changes... Some actions, should be condemned by both standards. Today I met one. Sleeping soon, will learn! reminder to never be like him and forget abt it. Chapter closed.

The birkin attitude

I wasn't sure how owning a second birkin is considered a milestone. But, getting Hermes moon cakes delivered to your residence, I would like that.. Anyway, speaking about Birkin attitude; not to ever bargain, business class preferred for family holidays, no mrt. Seems to me, a lot to lose, not at all fun. Anyway, I would never want a birkin.

These are the 2 best moments of my week. These are the top lists of people I wanna meet. TT, is someone that I always wanna be close to. But, we are never really best of pals. Having said that, I cherish her friendship more than I can express. Flying back just for the wedding and back for work next day. Didn't sound like my style at all, I never really a wedding person. I learnt: good friends are, you don't have to say anything, but they can feel what you are going thro. Love the moment.


Running is escape. I am counting my blessings. I love my life. Was back in HK on Sat. Leaving again tomorrow morning. See you again in the weekend, HK (",)
