RIP

He adored his only son,Kenneth, and loved him in his own little way. Kenneth remembers his father as a thrifty man but was never stingy towards him. One of the most enjoyable moments for Kenneth as a child would be to collect his weekly pocket money from his father.

Mr Goh would change Kenneth's pocket money into notes and coins in smaller denomination and make sure that Kenneth would be adequately provided for in school. Mr Goh would count the money in front of Kenneth and teach him how to use the money wisely. He even ensured that the notes were not dirtied for Kenneth's use. Many may think that changing the pocket money into smaller denomination was just a simple act, but to Kenneth, it was his father's demonstration of love and dedication for him.
