LAN (Beijing)

Everything you can say about China is all here in this 6000 square meter restaurant. It's big, over the top, visually crazy.Master,Philippe Starck, yet again, here he uses his sense wit to disarm you, capture your fancy and to remind you that you are indeed in China. Not that the design is of China, but the sheer audacity and pageantry is. Vast dining rooms and bar areas are complimented by a series of private tents, almost Mongolian inspired, that shelter you in very private and individually unique dining environments.

Lan is a place where top Chinese V.I.P.'s go privately (there is a private entrance if needed) or the most flamboyant can be seen. Even the most classic of Chinese dishes come with a visual twist. Despite the fun and size, their attention to detail in service was fantastic. Located at 4/F Twin towers B-12, Jianguomenwai Ave., Chaoyang District, Beijing. Tel: 8610 5109 6012
